There can be peace amongst our trials and confusion

What is it with people in today’s world? We have gone through a shortage of toilet paper, hand sanitizer, lysol spray, and most of all, good ole ground beef. Of course, the list goes on and on.

The ones who bought to resale made money, but didn’t stop to think about what would be the result of their greed. You became a reason for the inflation of prices we are dealing with now. You may not have been aware of a little thing called supply and demand, but it could be something to remember. Horrible, isn’t it?

I wonder who the mastermind is that sits around thinking of the next “panic,” but we have a new one in the making, called “the coin-shortage.” Greed will prevail again. Coins will be hoarded and prices will begin rounding off to the nearest dollar. A previous purchase of $1.39 will become $2.00. It could very-well happen!

Since this is already stirring in the midst of those greedy ones, the mastermind is probably working with the next one. I’m a very curious person, so I'll sit back and see what is next.

I’d like to see something positive on the horizon. Oh, I know! All checks issued to each child upon birth should be discontinued immediately. So many working women choose a method of birth control because they realize the expense to raise a child. It’s so unfair their paycheck goes to help pay all expenses of non-workers and lazy women. Can you imagine the money saved?

That wouldn’t work, at this time. Today’s actions have different goals. Oh, well! I still like the idea!

With all of this said and all of the confusion of today, I’m glad to know there is one who is never surprised or confused. He made us and He knows us. I’m very glad all control is in “His Hands.” Our almighty God!

He is our way and if we will follow in his footsteps, we will have peace in our hearts and goodness in our soul.

Everything happens for a reason!

I have said my peace for now. I’m running out of paper. I remember being told throughout the years, “Gail, when you run out of paper, it’s time to shut up!” I’ve been told I talk too much and I’ve even been told I can turn sadness into smiles, so one out of three isn’t too bad.

On this, I will have to say good-bye…until later.

I do have one thing to add. Many have heard this, I’m sure, but I have read it several times because it’s important to know.

It’s funny because we ask God to change our situation, not knowing, He put us in this situation to change us.
