Russellville police, firefighters 'Helping Santa' again this year

The 2015 “Helping Santa” Toy Drive has begun. Anyone interested in applying for assistance must pick up an application at the Russellville Police Department and return the application to the RPD by December 4.

Drop-off boxes have already been placed at several retailers and businesses around town for anyone who would like to make a donation. If you would like to have a drop-off box at your place of business, please contact the Russellville Fire Department at 256-332-8761.

Donations of new or slightly used toys are being accepted, as are monetary donations. Please make checks payable to “Helping Santa Toy Drive.”

“Once again, we just want to thank you for any help that you might be able to provide, big or small,” said Captain Randy Seal with the RFD. “All donations will be used to make a child’s Christmas much more enjoyable.”
