Hello, I am Michael McQuary. I am running for Phil Campbell City Council Place One.
I am 45 years old and married to the former Tina Isom. If elected, I will work hard for Phil Campbell. There is a lot that still hasn’t been cleaned up since the 2011 tornado. We also need to bring in more business instead of running it off.
Water has gone up so much that people on a fixed income are having a hard time paying their bills. This is something I will also address. Also, we need to get more support to our fire department so the ISO rating will not go up.
There is an industrial park that the town receives no tax revenue from because it’s outside the city limits, but the city is mowing the grass. The city bought it, yet the Franklin County Commission controls it. There is something wrong with this picture.
