A good education will help open doors to a world of unbelievable opportunities. This is the second year for Hamilton Ministries to award the Rev. C.D. Hamilton Memorial Scholarship!
Rev. Hamilton’s legacy continues on in 2016. He encouraged the youth to stay in school, to be leaders in their community and to help someone along life’s journey.
The 2016 scholarship winners from Russellville High School are Harley Thomas, who is attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham; Devin Jones, who is attending Alabama A&M University in Huntsville; and Michael-Ann Blackburn, who is attending Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.
It is an honor for Mrs. Sheryl Hamilton to assist these students during their first year of college. Thanks to the friends of Rev.
Hamilton who have helped to make my dream come true. There are so many ways to help make a difference in the lives of those around us.
