Stockton Memorial fishing tournament set for May 19

The 5th annual Casey Stockton Memorial Scholarship Bass Tournament is set for Saturday, May 19th at Cedar Creek Lake at Slick Rock boat ramp.

Tournament time will be 6 a.m.-2 p.m.

There is a five fish per boat limit and the entry fee is $60 per boat. There is an optional big fish pot with a $20 per boat fee (100% payout). But you don't have to participate in the big fish pot to fish in the tournament.

Prize money will be awarded with $750 to first place, $450 second place, $250 third place and $150 for fourth place. There will also be door prizes for tournament participants.

The tournament will be held regardless of weather conditions. No refunds will be made. Two contestants per boat only please. Large mouth, small mouth and spotted bass only are counted. All fish must be weighed by pound and ounce system and must measure 12” with mouth closed and roll tail.

Contestants must be 16 years of age or older unless accompanied by an adult. All fish, except trophy fish, will be the property of tournament officials to be released after the tournament.

Entry forms will be taken by mail or at the ramp the morning of the tournament. Take-off will be by the way entry forms are received.
