Personnel changes were the primary focus of the May 20th meeting of the Franklin County Board of Education as 45 personnel moves were approved by the board.

Other agenda items considered by the board included:
—service agreement with Dr. Jenny McCullar for physical therapy services for the 2025-26 school year.
—approve compensation agreement paying Patti Swinney, yearbook sponsor at Vina, $500 in compensation for 2024-25 school year, and Ashley Grimes, yearbook sponsor at Phil Campbell Elementary School, $500 for yearbook supplement for 2024-25 school year. Both schools will reimburse the system the $500 plus applicable benefits.
The next regular meeting of the Franklin County Board of Education will be June 3, 2025, with work session at 9 a.m., and meeting to follow.
