Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) Patriots Athletics announced Tuesday (3/18) that Joseph Brown has resigned from his position as head men's and women's cross country coach for other professional opportunities.
Brown was hired to lead the NWSCC programs in October 2023.
"We are thankful for Coach Brown's leadership of our cross country program," said NWSCC Athletics Director Taylor Franks. "Joseph has been a tremendous coach and mentor for our student-athletes. We wish him all the best in the future. As a Northwest Shoals alum, he will always be a Patriot."
The search for a new Patriots cross country coach begins immediately.
