Horton to serve as Community Spirit Bank’s Chief Compliance and BSA Officer
Community Spirit Bank is delighted to announce the promotion of Jessica Horton to Chief Compliance and BSA Officer. Jessica, a seasoned professional with nineteen years of financial industry experience, now joins the bank's executive management team.
Her previous role as vice president/compliance and BSA officer, coupled with her unwavering commitment to community banking, makes her a standout leader in all compliance matters.
Jessica is a Belmont High School graduate and a Red Bay native. In 2013, she began working on her additional compliance certifications, obtaining her Certified BSA/AML Professional status; in 2014, she received her specialty certification as a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer. Jessica studied at the Barret Graduate School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee, graduating in 2016.
Jessica's dedication to her team is unwavering, as evidenced by her being the 2022 recipient of the Spirit of CSB Award, a peer-nominated accolade driven by the bank's team. This award is a testament to her embodiment of the fundamental 'Spirit' of our organization.
