  • August 1, 2026: You are invited to attend “The Truth of Your Identity,” a conference for all ages hosted by the Cowboy Church of Franklin County. The conference will be held at the church on August 1, 2026, starting at 9am with a ‘Meet and Greet’ with pastries and juice. Worship is at 9:30am, and Speaker Alexis Aicher will begin at 10am.   • The NACOLG SENIORx medication assistance program supplies free and low-cost medications for anyone in Alabama with a disability or chronic illness, regardless of age, that requires daily medication.   • Love Packages Ministry is in need of donations of new and used Bibles (in any condition). They will be sent to ministers and missionaries around the world who will distribute them. Donations can be dropped off in the church office of Red Bay First Baptist Church or Russellville First Baptist Church.

  • The Northwest Regional Library is proud to announce audiobooks are now available through our Books-By-Mail program. This program is completely free to those that are medically homebound, live more than 10 miles from a town with a public library, or require large print or audiobooks only. Must be a resident of Marion, Franklin, or Lamar counties. We are accepting donations of new or gently used CD audiobooks. Donations can be dropped off at any member library.
