July 30, 2026: Russellville First Methodist Church will have a 5th Thursday Food Giveaway on Thursday, July 30th, at 311 N. Jackson Ave., Russellville, beginning at 1 p.m. Please use the back entrance from Washington Ave. Remain in your car, have your ID ready and allow our volunteers to serve you. Note: In case of inclement weather, the giveaway will be rescheduled.

July 30-31, 2026: My Father’s House Ministries is hosting a Kids Crusade, July 30-31, from 6-8 pm nightly and Sunday, August 2, 10:30am at the church, 104 East Lawrence St., Russellville. July 30-31 will include worship, crafts and food. The Sunday morning event is Kids Crusade Family and Friends Day, with Sunday morning worship and lunch, and games and a bouncy house after the church service. August 1, 2026: You are invited to attend “The Truth of Your Identity,” a conference for all ages hosted by the Cowboy Church of Franklin County. August 6, 2026: LifeSouth Community Blood Center will host a blood drive at Russellville Hospital on Thursday, August 6th, 2026 - 10:00AM to 5:00 PM. LifeSouth is the primary supplier of blood products to Russellville Hospital. August 8, 2026: Make plans to attend the Annual Ladies Conference on August 8th, from 10am-2pm at Phil Campbell First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Love Packages Ministry is in need of donations of new and used Bibles (in any condition). They will be sent to ministers and missionaries around the world who will distribute them. Donations can be dropped off in the church office of Red Bay First Baptist Church or Russellville First Baptist Church.

The Northwest Regional Library is proud to announce audiobooks are now available through our Books-By-Mail program. This program is completely free to those that are medically homebound, live more than 10 miles from a town with a public library, or require large print or audiobooks only. Must be a resident of Marion, Franklin, or Lamar counties.
