RCS Board of Education honors principals at October 21 meeting
The Russellville City Schools Board of Education honored their four principals as part of National Principal’s Month at the board’s October 21st meeting.
Norman Lier, Russellville High School, Monica Moon, Russellville Middle School, Tiffany Warhurst, Russellville Elementary School and Alicia Stanford, West Elementary School were recognized for the job they do on a daily basis at their four schools. The board also presented each principal with a card and small gift.
Dr. Tim Guinn, RCS Superintendent of Education and a former principal himself, described the pressure-filled responsibilities each principal faces every day.
“I read recently where a principal makes a decision every three minutes during the day,” Guinn said. “Today, we recognize their leadership and the countless decisions they make every day for our students and our schools.”
