Charles N. Mitchell has been a dedicated resident and small business owner in Franklin County for decades.
As the owner of Mitchell Welding, he has spent the last 10 years supporting local farmers by servicing heavy equipment with skill and dedication. His journey to becoming a small business owner began after years of hard work with Local 150 Operating Engineers Union, following his honorable service in the U.S. Army.
From 1965 to 1971, Mr. Mitchell served as a Sergeant in the Army, where he was deployed to Vietnam. During his time in the military, he was awarded two Bronze Star Medals for his bravery and dedication. His leadership and service in the military are a testament to his lifelong commitment to serving others.

Mr. Mitchell's commitment to the well-being of our community goes far beyond his business. From offering affordable services and fair wages to his employees, to sponsoring local school sports teams, his actions have consistently supported Franklin County's future. Last year, he worked with two local businesses to raise over $3,000, ensuring that 31 families and 62 children enjoyed a merry Christmas.
If elected as your Franklin County Commissioner for District One, Mr. Mitchell has pledged to continue his dedication to the community in a meaningful way.
Every year, he will donate half of his commissioner's salary to local schools, helping ensure our children receive the support and
resources they need.
