The eight players selected for the All-Region team were senior running back and linebacker Jaxon Vinson, who rushed for over 2,000 yards, scored 27 touchdowns and led the team in tackles; senior quarterback Jeremiah Thorne, who threw for 11 touchdowns and 1,293 yards; senior fullback Ayden Pruitt; sophomore wide receiver Davien Colburn, the team’s leader in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns; senior offensive lineman Rhett Lockhart; junior defensive back Jaxson Swann; sophomore defensive lineman Hayden Sartin; and junior offensive lineman Carson McGee.

“I’m proud of all our kids’ efforts this year. They’ve worked extremely hard and I’m excited they were chosen,” said Jeffreys, who led his team to the program’s first region title in five years in his first season with the Tigers.

“As for me, I just appreciate that opportunity and give all the credit to our staff and kids,” he added.
