Vina junior high girls race at North Alabama Gold Championship cross country meet

The Vina junior high girls’ cross country team competed at the North Alabama Gold Championship two-mile meet at John Hunt Park in Huntsville on October 16.

The Lady Red Devils had five runners participate in the race.

Lindie Easterling was the top finisher for Vina, placing 50th with a time of 14:55.57.

Kinsley Newton (19:15.84), Bella Creekmore (19:19.13), Maralynn Peterson (20:42.89), and Cecelia Rowbottom (21:16.46) finished 85th, 86th, 88th, and 89th, respectively.

As a team, the Vina girls finished 10th overall.
