First Metro Bank kicks off annual FAME Girls’ Ranch donation drive

First Metro Bank has launched its annual donation drive in support of FAME Girls’ Ranch, inviting the community to contribute essential items throughout the month of April.

Donations will be accepted at all First Metro Bank locations in Tuscumbia, Muscle Shoals, Russellville, and Florence.

Items currently needed by the ranch include laundry detergent and pods, paper products, general cleaning supplies, thermometers and covers, first aid supplies, and more.

Monetary donations are also welcomed and may be made at any First Metro Bank branch.

FAME Girls’ Ranch, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, serves Colbert County, Franklin County, Lauderdale County, and Lawrence County as part of the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches Program. Located in Russellville at the former home of the Rick Hall family, the ranch provides a family-style residential environment for young girls who have experienced abuse or neglect.

The organization’s mission is to foster a safe, supportive setting where residents can grow spiritually, emotionally, and physically, empowering them to become responsible, confident, and successful adults.

In recent years, First Metro Bank—through the generosity of its customers, employees, and the Shoals community—has contributed a significant amount of personal care items and financial support to the ranch, helping sustain its vital work.
